Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced by another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.
Players can reroll their equipment in three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous methods to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally, players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is achieved by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item a higher level, granting the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, item upgrading will require a particular number of items to be applied and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of the item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. In the same way, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. item upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
